A virtual
business meeting adds a few more
factors, since all at your
meeting are not in the same room.
Explore several options for your
meeting, and they are not all
high-tech. Begin with the
telephone conference call
Imagine a real situation: You
need to have a business meeting.
Some of the people youd
like to include are located at
other states (or , if you are
international, in other
countries). All are eager to
participate. But schedules and
travel funds are so tight that
none of the participants can find
the time to travel to one
location to meet face to face
around a table. You want to
maximize the benefits of
interaction and synergy while
minimizing the resources needed
to bring people together. You
want all participants to be able
to communicate at the same time,
in real time, from different
locations. You decide youd
like to use technology to
schedule a virtual
business meeting, communicating
without having to travel.
Examine your options, what do you
need to do to have a successful
meeting . This is a field
(conference calls) in which the
options are continually
expanding.
Conference
call companies:
The easiest option to
start with is telephones for a
conference call. Technical
requirements are simple:
youll need a telephone at
each location, and a speaker
phone if more than one person is
at that location. Youll be
able to hear each other, but you
wont be able to see their
face, body language, or how they
are referring to written
material. A three-way call
capability is available on all
telephones . For more than three
participants,Telecoms
Conference Call Center Services
offer several scheduling options.

TECHNOLOGY
USED IN CONFERENCE CALL COMPANIES
Voice over
Internet Protocol offers the
capability to transmit voice
communications overthe Internet,
employing a variety of end user
devices. In most cases, VoIP
servicesconvert the analog voice
from a telephone (using an
adapter between the telephone
andthe Internet connection) into
digital signals that travel as
packets over the Internet thenare
converted back to analog voice at
the receiving end. When placing a
VoIP call using a phone with an
adapter, a consumer hears a
regular dial tone and can dial
traditional phonenumbers. Other
VoIP services allow calls
directly from a computer, either
to a network ofcommon service
subscribers or to any telephone
number. True VoIP requires the
customer to have a broadband
connection, such as cable modem
or DSL.
This
technology is used by all the
conference call companies in
order to offer good and cheap
telephone conference call.
